Make sure your Mold/Formwork is complete for this Thursday so that we may begin to pour. If you would like to begin pouring your molds before, I have the cement. Feel free to reach out to me before Thursday if you would like to pour.
On Thursday December 10 at 5pm we must assemble the vault.
First, we must finish the first layer of the vault & remove the centering.

Throughout the semester, we will look at the implementation of vaults as a method of spanning space. The construction of a vault is a specific building method initiated by the Romans and carried out through to today. We will construct vaults both physically and digitally this semester and through this exploration we will become more familiar with the tools and technologies associated with Vaulting Space.
